Yiting is a first-year undergraduate biomedical engineering (electrical engineering) student at USC. Born and raised in Costa Rica, she has long been interested in exploring diagnostic and educational accessibility for the general population—and what better way than to learn from the MADLAB? She is also curious about the role of nanotechnology in medical device portability, and exploring efficient ways to share what she learns. On campus, Yiting is actively involved in TRA, ASBME and Christian Challenge. She finds comfort in playing the piano, dancing ballet, writing poetry, and eating good meals.
