Luca is a fourth-year undergraduate studying biomedical and electrical engineering from Los Angeles, California. He joined the M.A.D Lab to learn more about how research and development of medical devices is done, and to gain experience reading and writing papers in order to become involved in the scientific community. He hopes to one one day work in researching and developing neural implants and other devices which interface with the nervous system in order to increase human longevity. In his free time, Luca enjoys building and tinkering with game engines, keeping freshwater fish, and cooking.
