Originally from Honolulu, HI, Kara recently graduated from USC in May 2024 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering (Molecular-Cellular). On campus, she was involved with ASBME Executive Board, MEDesign, the Viterbi Learning Program, research in the MADLab, and was a Course Producer for BME 101.

Kara is currently working as a Clinical Research Coordinator for the MADLab while applying to medical school. She is excited about the application of medical technology to make healthcare more accessible for all.
