Caitlyn Nguyen is a third-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering. She joined the MAD Lab to gain hands-on experience in a research setting and to explore how biosensors can be applied to different aspects of the biomedical engineering field. Caitlyn is currently actively involved in the Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Honor Society, the Associated Students of Biomedical Engineering, and Troy Philippines.

Originally from San Jose, California, she has diverse interests outside of academics. In her free time, Caitlyn enjoys going on long drives, spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, and binge-watching TV shows.
