Anya earned her bachelor’s in Computational Biology from the University of Texas at Austin with a minor in Communication Studies. During her undergrad, she was in a lab that focused on researching and developing point-of-care medical diagnostics. In the MADLab, she is excited to continue broadening her research experience. She is interested in developing accessible and wearable medical devices and diagnostics that improve women’s health.

In her free time, she loves to dance, play the piano, sing, and paint. As an animal lover, she enjoys spending time with her dog “Buzz.” She also loves going to the beach and exploring LA.
