Alanah Penn is a Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering (BME) at USC, with a passion for advancing diagnostic technologies. She earned her undergraduate degree in BME from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). At USC, she aims to deepen her expertise in biosensors and the development of innovative diagnostic devices. Beyond academics, Alanah serves as the National Finance Chair for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), an organization dedicated to advancing engineering excellence and empowering the next generation of engineers. In her free time, Alanah enjoys working out, going to the beach, and thrifting.
